Bon Me- If you are looking for a change of pace, Bon Me is it. Bon Me serves Vietnamese style sandwiches, rice bowls, and salads made with unique ingredients that are full of flavor. The noodle salad, rice bowls, salads, and sandwiches are stuffed with interesting veggie combos like pickled and shredded carrots, daikon (winter radish), cilantro, and cucumber with your choice of filling. All of their filling options, especially the special fillings offered on a rotating basis are to die for, and made with the perfect blend of sauce and spice. You can always choose from the Spiced Rubbed Chicken, Chinese BBQ Pork, Roasted Soy and Paprika Tofu for vegans or anyone who really loves tofu, and Miso-Braised pulled Pork. Some of the special fillings offered include the spicy Asian Chickpea and the Jamaican Jerk Chicken. I recommend the Miso-Braised Pulled Pork over Soba Noodles. You can choose between soba and rice noodles for the noodle salad with toasted sesame dressing drizzled on top. The spicy peanut sauce is really yummy too if you are looking for a little kick. They also offer some funky but tasty soft drinks to wash it all down. My favorites include the Thai Basil Limeade and Spicy Ginger Lemonade but there are plenty to choose from.
The truck is most often found around Harvard, Dewey Square, High Street, Milk Street, and Stuart Street in Boston. They also have a brick and mortar store in Fort Point, Kendall Square, and Fresh Pond.

Terri-Yummy– So filling and consistently delicious. It’s difficult to find consistency in food truck meals, but Terri-Yummy has their system down. They offer teriyaki bowls filled with your choice of chicken, beef, shrimp, stir fry veggies, or tofu or a combination of a few meats (chicken and beef and chicken and shrimp are phenomenal) over a bed of noodles or white or brown rice. The sauce is what really has me coming back for more. It’s sweet and tangy and mixes really well. They never drown the bowl with it which I appreciate. The chicken and beef are lean, no fatty pieces to be found, and the shrimp has impressed me as it has always been very fresh. They never skimp out on the hearty stuff. Starting at $7.00, I find the price to be super reasonable. Out of all of the filling combos, my personal favorite is the Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki served over brown rice. It’s amazing.
The truck can be found parked outside City Hall Plaza, Northeastern, on Trapelo road in Waltham and in Watertown and Burlington. They are always parking somewhere new, so check out their Twitter page as well. They are a must try!

Tenoch- Unbelievable Mexican food on wheels. I can’t get enough. Their specialty are Tortas, which are Mexican style sandwiches served on telera bread, a Mexican bread similar to a French Roll. They offer chorizo, pork, ham, tilapia, chicken, and vegetable style Tortas which are served with an assortment of condiments and toppings. The Torta Campechana, served with pork, chorizo, beans, onions, tomato, avocado, Oaxaca cheese (white cheese from Mexico similar to Monterey Jack cheese), and chipotle mayo is one of my favorites. The pork is so tender, it melts in your mouth, and the chorizo’s smoky taste and crunch is the perfect compliment. The Torta Pastor, a fan favorite, is made with pork in an achiote sauce, which tastes like a blend of cinnamon, black pepper, salt, clove, and garlic, along with pineapple, cilantro, and beans, onion, avocado, and chipotle. They also serve veggie filled tortas as well which are delicious. The tacos and burritos are also very good here and served with your choice of meat or veggie filling. Served on a soft corn tortilla and with the salsa of your choice, the Pescado and Pollo tacos are great choices with the pico de gallo salsa, or chile de arbol, a dried chile sauce with spices. If you are feeling adventurous try the Barbacoa de Borrego taco, lamb covered in BBQ sauce is VERY tasty. If you are in the mood for Mexican and roaming the streets of Boston, I highly recommend checking out the Tenoch food truck.
The truck is typically found on Congress Street near Dewey Square, in Kendall Square, and Boston University with Brick and mortar’s found in Medford, on Lewis Street in Boston, and soon to be Somerville off Highland Avenue near Davis Square.
