A new brewery in the area and a new love of mine. First of all, thank you Winter Hill Brewing for being pretty much the only joint in the area to offer coffee by day and beer by night. The coffee is phenomena, bold and full of flavor and ethically sourced directly from farmers and cooperatives which is appreciated. They offer both hot and cold brews and specialty drinks like chai lattes and cappuccinos. The interior is awesome, relaxing, and the wait staff is always super friendly and attentive. They also have free WIFI which entices me to spend many of my work from home days here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On top of the coffee, the beer is really yummy. They have five rotating beers on tap with the 328 House Ale a usual suspect. My favorites at the moment are the Frequency Kolsch, a German dry and tart beer, and the Saison La Granada, super light and refreshing. My date’s go-to is the Darlin’s IPA, which is hoppy and bold.  For food, they have small plates, salads and sandwiches. The pulled pork sliders topped with spicy jalapeno coleslaw are AMAZING, and the spicy Korean Brussel sprouts and roasted chickpea gyro  are next on my list. I’ve also heard great things about their Cubano sandwich made with mojo marinated pork, baked ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard and mayo as well, which means many more trips to Winter Brewing are required. Oh, and all sandwiches come with your choice of potato salad, picked veggies, chickpea chopped salad, homemade slaw, kale salad OR fries. The choices are endless.
